Cheriton

North-west Folkestone suburb home to the Channel Tunnel terminal and well-connected to the M20.

Cheriton is a suburb to the north-west of Folkestone, best known as the location of the Channel Tunnel terminal at Cheriton — the UK terminus for Eurotunnel Le Shuttle and Eurostar services to France and Belgium.

The Cheriton area has a mix of residential streets and light industrial/retail uses clustered around Cheriton High Street and the Folkestone Retail Park. Local amenities include a range of shops, garages, and services.

The Channel Tunnel terminal at Cheriton is one of the most significant pieces of transport infrastructure in Kent and connects Folkestone directly to Calais in approximately 35 minutes by shuttle.
